1. The Chrysalids
2. The Hobbit
3. Wolf Brother

I think this is the only time so far I've actually read enough of the books on the list to use all three of my votes (in fact this time I've read 5)

Inkheart and The Hunger Games, both of which nearly made it as my third choice, but Wolf Brother just about won out in the end =P

sry bout the late reply.

basically, its about the existence of magic/magical beings in our world. it explores the pretence of things like that, how they would fit in wiv the modern world, how they would cover up AND the most important bit is Derek can make u piss urself laughing

You are in for such a treat! I'd recommend watching the Lord of the Rings films first, though. It'll take almost 9 hours... but watching the Hobbit films will be so much more exciting! Half the fun of seeing the trailer has been recognizing characters x) And the whole world/story can be a bit much to understand at first, so it'll help.

My friend Harrison is planning a movie weekend that I have to attend XD My guess is i'm gonna be stuck there all night watching Lord of the Rings, and if we manage to finish that...he'll make me watch Star Wars probably >.<
I've only seen the first episode of that XD
