Chapter 7- The Discussion The garden outside of Peach's castle was a calm and quiet place. It was the perfect spot for a nice chat or a quiet retreat from a busy or stressful day. Peach began to walk over to one of the fancy outdoor tables where her friends were waiting eagerly. In her hands was a fancy teapot which had just been used to brew some warm tea. She was soon joined by Princess Zelda who was carrying a tray of hot biscuits that were fresh from the oven. The two of them set their goodies down on the table before taking their seats. Mario, who was sitting patiently and waiting for the two ladies to return, began to look around the table. "So this is it then?" he finally spoke, "This is our current team?" Zelda nodded in response. "Some others are here too," she replied, "But their injuries from the attack were great. I'm afraid they haven't awoken yet." Mario began to look a bit unhappy before returning to his determined demeanor. "That's fine. I understand. We'll let them

A lonely woman in a white robe sat in a dark cell, illuminated only by one burning torch. It provided enough light to see her surroundings, but it still was pretty dark. All she realized was being locked in some kind of a dungeon, and her wrists handcuffed together in front, just below her waist. She had no idea how she got here, but none of that mattered anymore. All that bothered her now was the reason. Who brought her here and why? She could hear male and female voices in the distance, but what they spoke didn’t sound like talking. They were chanting. The spooky sound of it sent shivers down her spine. Those people definitely were members of some cult. Despite them being somewhere in the distance, she could still hear the words. She froze and listened. What they chanted sounded like some gibberish, a language that didn’t exist on Earth, and yet she somehow understood every word they said. "Ph'nglui mglw'nafh Cthulhu R'lyeh wgah'nagl fhtagn." "In his house at R'lyeh dead Cthulhu

Chapter 6- Regrouping The area was unusually quiet. The sounds of screaming, shouting, and fighting had long faded. Things were suddenly calm after what seemed like a life-threatening situation. Alex slowly woke up to the silence. It seemed like he had passed out. He tried to recollect his thoughts and recall what had happened. Then it had hit him. He and the Super Smash Brothers encountered a mysterious masked man who had attacked them all. This made Alex very worried for the safety of the others. Just as he was about to get up, however, he noticed that he was in a soft bed in a room full of pink. He couldn't help but wonder where he had ended up. As his thoughts began to wander, Alex heard the sound of a door opening. This prompted him to quickly hide under the covers of the bed in fear. However, rather than an unwelcome presence, he felt a pleasant warmth come over him as the figure moved closer to the bed he had been sleeping in. "It's alright. You're safe now," a rather

Chapter 5- The Shadow Dweller Alex had been feeling pretty energetic after his nice rest and good meal. But he was still feeling nervous about reaching the castle. After all, he would soon be meeting a princess. And not just any princess. He would meet Princess Peach, ruler of the Mushroom Kingdom and fellow member of the Super Smash Brothers. And many other members of the crew would be anticipating their meetup with him as well. While it was an exciting thought to be meeting such famous and powerful characters, it was also nerve wrecking for Alex. He began to wonder if he even deserved to be with such great people even if he was hired to simply be their intern. And the fact that they were being attacked brought up another issue. The issue of trust. "Will they even trust me after all of this?" Alex thought to himself. He wondered if some of the group would be suspicious of him and accuse him of being a member of the Shadow Dwellers. That was the last thing Alex wanted out of them.
