"Hey." I say back.
"Hi Nai. I'm gonna go get lunch." Liza says. "Be right back."
Before Liza can get up, Nai's phone buzzes. "Oh, I'm gonna go sit with my boyfriend today. See ya guys later."
I grab her arm before she can leave. "Wait, what? You have a new boyfriend? Who?"
Liza looks at Nai weirdly. "Yeah, who?"
Liza scrunches her nose. "Him? He's in my history class."
Just then, a short—same hight, maybe a bit taller than Nai— tan, cute (but kind of looks like a mouse), guy puts his arm around Nai and kisses her on the cheek. "Hey Babe."
I stare at Johnny in shock. It's only been a couple months into the school year and Nallely is on her third boyfriend.
Nai waves bye to us. "See you later."
I watch her and Johnny walk down the stairs and across the Quad to the football field.
"Ookay..? You want to get lunch with me?" Liza asks.
"Yeah. Sure." I answer and get up.

The VowsThe Vows by unusedEmotion
We stood at the altar
In the fresh aesthetics of spring
You took my hand in yours
And slid on that fateful ring
I wore a fair dress
Clothed in a flurry of white
The poison smile
On my wedding, the only blight
So beautiful it was
My dress stained red
Our passion unbidden
I took off your head
We promised love
Till death do us part
And it shall
For your head, take my heart
My dear, my darling
Forget me not
Honor our righteous vows
And love me till I rot
We vowed forever
Let my love

TherapyWhen I see ghosts they look perfectly real and solid -- like a living human being. They are not misty; I can't see through them; they don't wear sheets or bloody mummy bandages. They don't have their heads tucked under their arms. They just look like ordinary people, in living color, and sometimes it is hard to tell who is a ghost.Therapy by QueenWolf12

A tale which will be unbelievable beyond your ears, but don't let your mind fool you, let it be your guide. To where you ask!? Well where all your dreams and thoughts live, your imagination. This tale begins where the first flower grew, the magnolia flower and from this small delicate flower rose something, something very strange and mysterious, a fairy? no, this creature has no wings, A pixie? it doesn't have the ears, well what is it? Bad Trend in Teens [More to a journal]I heard from my friend, that many of her classmates are or want to use e-Cigarette. And this is so messed up, as we are still young (middle-schooler).Bad Trend in Teens [More to a journal] by Clover0Project
First of all, what is e-Cigarette? Electric Cigarette/Electronic Nicotine Delivery Systems, a new cigarette type. Detailed here.
Also known as 'vapor' in Indonesia. It may be more healthy and environmentally friendly than normal cigarette, but the negative sides still the same.
Well, read the rest of the thing in wikipedia.
e-Cigarette is kind of expensive in Indonesia (the cheapest one as far as my cousin know is 500.000 IDR, I don't know what about the liquid, and if refill...). But well, my school is a prestigious school for those who are rich (I'm not that rich though) so it's not that surprising...
I know what is e-Cigarette since my cousin uses it too. My cousin already work, and e-Cigarette is a trend in her workplace.
So, back to main point. My friend showed the

WHERE WERE YOU BORN?
I was born on the outskirts of London, England. I come from an English family and am an English girl through and through.
DO YOU LIKE YOUR CURRENT PLACE OF RESIDENCE?
I do! I have lived in London all my life and couldn’t imagine living in any other part of the world. London, and in fact England, is a wonderful place to live in my humble opinion.
WHAT INSPIRED YOU TO START WRITING?
I think a main inspiration to me was definitely my parents. They encouraged me to read from a very young age. I would spend almost all of my time as a young child reading. Every weekend my parents would take me to my local library where I would take out several books and read them all for the following week. I loved readi
The Legendary Irish PeisteIn the sixties, Captain Lionel Leslie tried to lure the monsters of Connemara in county Galway to appear on the surface. He undertook his first experiment in October 1965 in Lough Fadda. Leslie obtained the approval to spring in the lake with dynamite. It was his aim to scare the monster with the shock. 10 seconds after the detonation of 2 kilogram explosives, he saw that a black something appeared. Unfortunately the lake was so troubled by the explosion that it was difficult to recognize details. But what he saw was enough to convince the people of the existence of a monster in the lake. The Legendary Irish Peiste by Malintra-Shadowmoon
In October 1967, Leslie planned to fish out Lough Fadda with a net. His efforts stayed without any success. But in 1968, the Captain planned with a team to search Lough Nahooin bei Claddaghduff (Galway) with the help of a net. It was a little lake, only 90 meters wide and 75 meters broad. They were convinced to find the monster because five months ago, a farmer who lived nearby Stephen Coyne

“Hello? Who are you?” She just stared at him, confused. She was only 15 years old, focused only on trying to find a cure for her mother.
“Blue Jay,” She replied simply.
The Loremaster had decided to leave the safety of the Guardian Tower in Paxia because of a prophecy his oracle had said only a week before. He was told that the Chosen One would soon make an appearance in the world of Lore. It was easy to say that he was ecstatic. He immediately left, sending a quick word to all of the corresponding Guardian Towers around Lore.
That’s where Blue Jay came into his little ‘fiasco’.
He was travelling with Sage Uldor who resided in Battleon. A few guards were following him because they believed that their leader would alway
Pretty Golden GirlThere once was a girl who was prettier than me.Pretty Golden Girl by GeorgiaKitty
Her hair shone like gold in the sunlight,
And her face was delicate and pure.
Whenever she was smiled,
They all sighed,
For she was their pretty golden girl.
Now, wherever she went,
They all swooned,
Unknown to just how under her spell they were.
It was said that when she laughed
The birds would sing,
And the world was a much happier place
When their pretty golden girl was pleased.
But I was never pleased, nor happy, nor joyful
To see the girl around the town.
For whenever she appeared,
Her magic made me vanish in the face of my peers.
So I took it upon myself,
To rid the world of her and make it more fair.
With knife in hand, and blood stained clothes,
Wounded body, and a face that was pretty no more.
Their pretty golden girl dead.
She had outshined me for far too long.

Had it been ten years ago, this district of The Bronx would be densely packed with all manner of human beings. Now, the downtrodden district was a cultural melting pot for the variety of alien races that encompassed the Galactic Collective. With the interstellar wars brewing beyond the Sol System, Earth became refugee central for all manner of aliens whose governments were involved.
The unified Earth Government warmly invited the extraterrestrial refugees in as a gesture of goodwill. What the aliens didn't know is that their human land lords would drop them in the worse living conditions possible, reserving the economically prosperous and industrialized areas solely for human occupants. Grayson hurriedly squeezed through the narrow throng of gleeful townsfolk flooding their way out of the Archbell District. The involved labyrinth of streets slanted smoothly westward, tearing through a clustered thoroughfare of businesses and taverns, and feeding directly into the city's Port District. An assembly of banner-strewn naval ships proudly gathered in the harbor, returning home after a victorious and sanguinary crusade against the united city-states of Foloras across the Dark Expanse far to the west.
The unceasing quarrel which bloodied the waters of the Dark Expanse for five onerous years was hailed victorious and was ultimately brought to a hard-fought resolution. Even now, across the glistening ocean, the Folorasians mourned over their casualties and doused themselves in the reeking failure of pitting their laughably piteous navy with the mighty ships of the City of Oaths. With a dexterous slink, Grayson dissolved himself away from the roaring crowd, nestling attent

Eons ago, when a vast majority of the inner spheres were nothing but a miasma of untamed darkness, a great war was waged under the waving banner of dominance. The demon lords, infuriated by the notion of divine supremacy, called forth their dark and vile powers in an impetuous effort to usurp the god

Aleta Green-Cove slammed her back painfully to a cold stone wall. She panted quietly, her right hand slipping something the size of her palm into her trouser pocket. As she caught her breath, options careered through her mind. The way out of this cave system was only a few turns ahead but if she made a dash for it now, she would be seen.
A shuddering, echoing roar burst through the gaping dark tunnel entrance in the wall beside her. The tunnels here were enormous and stretched for miles. But they would have to, Aleta thought grimly, to be the home of such a gigantic beast.
"At least there's only one," she breathed softly. "More than one would be much, much worse."
Suddenly a screeching scream rushed through the tunnel. Aleta covered her ears with her hands, doubling over in an effort not to faint. She gasped as the screech stopped and she could move again. This was bad! It was getting closer.

Hold me tight and never let me depart for I gave you my whole heart; and when I'm in your arms it sets me free, when you pull me closer, and in so deep.
For the times you run your fingers through my hair, you say I'm your little angel flying in the sky, little do you know I want to be with you until the day I die.
After all, love isn't a plan. It doesn't have a beginning and certainly has no end; love happens and it is incredibly messy.

to turn almost invisable while they hold fast
their insidious fangs to your jugular.
Those foul spawns of the conscience are
now shadowy warriors that roar with insults and
stab your every orifice with their time-rusted blades
until you can no longer stand
in the ruby sea
Into the Darkness chapter 10Chapter 10- the Journey BeginsInto the Darkness chapter 10 by Dragongirl651
Three hours West of Skandor, the forest looked even more menacing. The grey trees were taller and thicker, the vines grew thorns and barbs, some of which looked poisonous, and the rivers and streams became rarer and rarer as they advanced. In addition, the forest was filled with SOUND. The chirping and chattering of birds and insects, the wind rustling through the dark leaves, the creaking of branches, and the occasional howl or roar of a distant beast.
Ruan guided the small group through the forest, followed closely by Taryn, who was holding a map and occasionally pointing things out. Ammil was next, followed by Maldor, who seemed ready for a fight at any given moment. Lienne brought up the rear, scanning the forest for signs of movement. At first, the five of them had talked about trivial things- the weather, the changes in their surroundings, the strange trees and animals they encountered. But it wasn't long before t

City hall and the area around it were buzzing with activity. There were Hunters all around- talking to each other, showing off their weapons, eating, buying from the stands that had sprung up overnight... The place was the busiest that Lienne had ever seen it.
Taryn had refused to tell her why it was so important they go. Ever since the disaster that had happened with Ashpelt, neither of them had been particularly excited about Hunting, not even Lienne. So when Taryn woke her and told her in an excited voice that it was important that they go to city hall, Lienne was naturally curious about what had broken his depression.
The focus of the attention seemed to be a notice almost as large as the notice board itself. The paper it was printed on was tinged a light blue, as opposed to the usual whites and yellows that appeared. The crowd gathered around it made it impossible for her to get close enough and see wh

the raging fires outside to bless the alter where I waited
with our rings,
lilies-of-the-valley still braided into my hair.
The priest rests in his Lord's embrace,
garbed in crimson threads at the cathedral's gateway,
Nazi bullets in his body and in his Bible.
Our wedding banners are piles of chared ash
blessed by the coming lightning war.
The holy water has dried up, but my tears
still have not.
You said you'd come back, that you'd be mine,
to have and to hold
'til the bitter flames of death should tear us
But never did I get to hold you again,
to waltz with you in our first night of matrimony,
to watch the sun rise over the Meuse when
the rays came to bless our first
day as a single, perfect soul.
I'll stay here at the alter of St. Lawrence,
praying for you to come back
and leave your weapon at the door.
Though the ceiling may crumble and
the pipe organ collapse with a mighty
roar, they cannot hurt me now.
They cannot touch us ever again
Nothing Lasts Forever Chpt 14“What do you mean you’re an alien?” Ace asked his sister, his eyes wide with disbelief. Damien had adapted to the situation a lot quicker than Alexis would’ve thought. Then again, he did once room with Robin so she shouldn’t have been that surprised.Nothing Lasts Forever Chpt 14 by VerySecretAccount
A flare of jealousy enveloped her as she thought of Robin and Damien living with each other. She flushed and shook her head.
“I mean, Sammy, from before, told me all this shit about how I’m from a different galaxy thing and Robin is somehow connected to this. She told me that something was going to happen to us.” Alexis condensed it for all three of them; even she had some trouble understanding it.
“She did say that some people were going to try and come to ‘collect’ me.” She decided to refrain from going into any more detail due to the way the topic was heading, the last thing she wanted was Ace going ape shit in front of Damien.
Nothing Lasts Forever Chpt 13“Why do you think I honestly need someone with me while I do this?” Robin sighed, rolling her eyes. In one hand was a jagged knife and the other held her hair high in a bobble. Nero stared at her with concern whilst Kai chuckled somewhere in the background.Nothing Lasts Forever Chpt 13 by VerySecretAccount
“Don't girls get emotional about this type of stuff?” He asked, confused for once. He had offered to take over but Robin wouldn’t let him. She was too worried about him getting all emotional about it.
“Most girls yes but I have the time so I can grow it all back again.” She replied, pointing towards the door of her former apartment. She came back to do this and explain to Damien why she will be leaving.
“But still, isn’t it a primary code in your brains to get emotional about hair?” Nero cried, trying to get her to see the point he was trying to make.
“You’re just dragging this on Nero, just let me cut and you can cry over it later.” With a ragged movement
Nothing Lasts Forever Chpt 12“What do I have to do first mother?” Robin asked her mother.Nothing Lasts Forever Chpt 12 by VerySecretAccount
“First, you have to get people on your side. You need to get people you can trust and rely on. Only bring up three people at the maximum. Too many people will attract unwanted attention from your enemies, even your best friend.” Her mother complied.
Robin sighed unhappily, knowing what was going to come next. She was going to have to signal Him. Fucks sake this was going bad. She knew that she could trust Him but he could just take things too bloody well far.
Despite the upcoming events, she still kept her identity carefully concealed beneath the façade that she had acquired over the many years of her existence. Robin knew that she wouldn’t be exhausted by the prospect of keeping up the mirage but it could help her if she let it go once in a while.
She was walking along the snowy paths when she finally noticed something. A crackling TV was spitting out the news in the pub to her left.

I've kissed too many people to still be mad about it.
The first time she slept in my bed I had visions
of my grandfather decaying in his coffin.

It was winter and the windows were closed.
There are flowers that bloom once in a life time.
The things I see during the day prepare me for the night.
A family moved into her old house.
They don’t leave beer cans on the front porch.
For some reason that makes me sick.
The only picture I didn't burn is of her
looking past the lens and straight into my eyes.
Everything else about that life is gone.
Sometimes even me.
This is the worst day to tell me I’m blind
The Evanescent ManHe’s sitting at the dinner table, waiting for me when I open the door. His wrinkled hands are clasped around each other, spindly fingers locked tight like manacles, so still he could be made of stone. He doesn’t look up, he doesn’t need to, he knows me well like an old friend. And it wells up within my chest, a swelling, building ache that’s growing hard and heavy. The fingers come unlaced. He smoothes a crease in his threadbare black suit; the suit that's full of darkness, swallowing any light that hits it. It’s the same thing he did the last time he came, and I realize that I’ve forgotten him; I’ve forgotten what he meant, what he did, what he took from me. He takes a breath, and I am a boy again, I think, everything is too bright and sharp, the colors saturated and vibrant. My legs don’t ache anymore, my head is full of hair, I

Helen woke up and found herself in a king-sized bed with thick warm silver blankets and pillows, and wearing a blue night gown. The bedroom had opaque glass walls, built-in light domes, a stained glass window behind her bed, and a fluffy floor. Her mind kept racing as she looked around feeling confused. The last thing she remembered was the mysterious man who saved her from her ruthless slave masters. Questions raced through her mind, where am I? How did I get here?
Then her bedroom door opened. Feeling scared, she lay back down to pretend to sleep. She carefully lifted her head up and saw a hovering metal box with a blue glowing screen and skinny jointed arms at the sides. Her eyes widened and her body froze.
The box turned and spoke, “Good morning Helen.”
Helen backed away, “Who are you and how do you know my name?”
“Apologies,” the box s
